Remove Harmful SNAP Changes in the State Budget

Thank you for all you are doing to ensure Ohioans have the resources they need to keep food on the table during this pandemic. As you work to reconcile the biennial budget bill, I urge you to remove provisions of Comp. Doc. section JFS-69 that will require change reporting and asset tests for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients.




We must make it easier for Ohioans to keep food on the table, especially as our neighbors work to recover from the pandemic. I urge you to protect SNAP from this unprecedented threat and instead work to strengthen access to this critical nutrition program.
